Yesterday I turned 22. But before I started this new year of my life I decided to read my journal entries from this past year and make a list of my 21 favorite moments.

1. Lived with nudists for one week (they let me couch surf at their place while i was in San Luis Obispo). 
2. Zip-lined across the Hollywood sign.
3. Rode from LA to Mexico (fixed gear).
4. Met Dominic Gill (my adventure role model).
5. Rode from Santa Barbara to LA (fixed gear).
6. Got a job I love.
7. Went to LA Rising and watched Rage Against The Machine.
8. Received a standing ovation from an entire classroom (after giving a speech while pretending to be Billy Mays).
9. Hiked to the top of Mt. Baldy just to enjoy dinner with a view.
10. The Artivist Film Festival.
11. The Bicycle Film Festival.
12. Interbike
13. Street racing in Las Vegas.
14. Occupy LA.
15. Repelling down Monrovia Canyons.
16. Worked with former lumberjacks who now build and maintain hiking trails.
17. Submitted my UC applications.
18. Camped at the top of Mt. Wilson.
19. Camped in Sequoia National Park.
20. Took my little sister on her first camping trip.
21. Touched General Sherman (the largest tree on Earth).

After making this list I’m really excited to see what happens during this next year :D
